What RoomParentHub collects through this website, why, for how long, and how you ask for a copy or a deletion. Last updated September 4, 2026.

Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is MLJ, SASU, publisher of RoomParentHub, registered in Paris under SIREN 934 769 837. The publication director is Jimenez Julien. Any question, request or complaint about personal data can be sent to jimenezjulien42@gmail.com and will be answered within thirty days. Full company details are on the legal notice page.

What this website collects

These marketing pages have one collection point: the contact form on the home page. When you send that form, the following fields are transmitted and stored: name, email, company (the school or parent group name you enter), role, request, size, message, and consent. Two hidden fields travel with the submission: subject, which labels the message, and recipient, which routes it to the publisher's mailbox. A honeypot field named bot-field is present to catch automated spam and is expected to remain empty.

The form does not ask for a student name, a family roster, a home address or any payment information, and you should not include those details in the message box. If you send them anyway, they are deleted as soon as we notice them.

This site sets no advertising cookie, runs no third party analytics script and embeds no social tracking pixel. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to beyond the strictly necessary operation of the pages. Web fonts are served by Google Fonts, which receives the request necessary to deliver the font files.

Why we collect it, and on what legal basis

Contact form data is used for one purpose: to answer your request about RoomParentHub, arrange a demo, prepare a quote or reply to a question. Under the European General Data Protection Regulation the legal basis is your consent, given by ticking the consent box before you send the form, together with the legitimate interest of the publisher in responding to a business enquiry. For readers in the United States, the equivalent framing is that the information is processed to provide a service you asked for.

We do not use these submissions to build a marketing list, we do not enrich them with data bought from brokers, and we do not sell, rent or share them with advertisers. If we ever want to send you something that is not a reply to your own message, we will ask you separately.

Who processes and stores submissions

Form submissions are processed and stored by Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, United States, which hosts this website and operates the Netlify Forms service. Netlify acts as a processor on the publisher's instructions. A copy of each submission is also delivered by email to the publisher's mailbox so that a person can reply to you. No other processor receives this data.

How long submissions are kept

Enquiries that do not lead to a customer relationship are deleted twenty four months after the last exchange with you. Enquiries that turn into a subscription are kept for the duration of the contract and then for the period required by French commercial and tax law, which is ten years for accounting records. You can ask for an earlier deletion at any time and we will act on it unless a legal retention rule prevents us.

Application data, kept separate from this site

Classroom rosters, volunteer slots, contribution records and reminder history created inside the RoomParentHub application are governed by the customer agreement, not by this page. That data belongs to the school or parent group that entered it. It is encrypted in transit and at rest, is visible only to the organizers assigned to a classroom and to the teacher granted a summary link, and is never sold or used to train external models. Account owners can export a classroom or delete it permanently from the settings screen.

Your rights in the United States

If you live in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah or Virginia, state privacy law gives you the right to know what personal information has been collected about you, to obtain a copy of it, to correct inaccuracies, to request deletion, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising. RoomParentHub does not sell or share personal information and does not run targeted advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of, but the right to know, correct and delete applies fully. California residents also have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights, and may use an authorized agent to make a request on their behalf.

Your rights under the GDPR

If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom or another jurisdiction applying similar rules, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing, and data portability, together with the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, which in France is the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertes.

How to exercise your rights

Write to jimenezjulien42@gmail.com with the email address you used on the form and a short description of your request. We may ask one question to confirm that the request comes from you, which is a safeguard rather than an obstacle. Requests are answered within thirty days, free of charge, unless a request is manifestly excessive or repetitive.

International transfers

Because the site is hosted by a United States company, form submissions are transferred to and stored in the United States. Where the sender is in the European Economic Area, this transfer relies on the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission, which Netlify includes in its data processing agreement, together with supplementary technical measures such as encryption in transit and at rest.

Children's privacy

This website is aimed at adults who organize classroom activities: room parents, parent teacher group officers, teachers and school administrators. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under sixteen through this site. Inside the application, classroom records are keyed to families rather than to individual student profiles, and a child's name should never be entered in a public list field. If you believe a child's information reached us in error, write to jimenezjulien42@gmail.com and it will be deleted promptly.

Security

Pages are served over HTTPS. Submissions are encrypted in transit and stored in Netlify's infrastructure with access limited to the publisher. Security patches are applied within two business days of release. No system is perfect, and if a breach affecting personal data occurred we would notify the affected people and the competent supervisory authority within the legal deadline.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version is published on this page with a new date at the top. Material changes to how enquiry data is used will also be sent by email to anyone with an open enquiry. The current version is dated September 4, 2026.
